I'm sticking to Northampton. After posting I looked back and 65/66 they had their one season in top division.
I'm embellishing my thought process by looking at the sketchy picture and seeing a field full of grass no bare patches in the area. We played them first home game of the season!
...sat in the front row of the cantilever stand behind the goal for that game.
My late father & older brother went - they also seen the replay at Goodson - came home shocked as City did not roll over same score 0-0 in fact they stated City had better chances - my Older brother went to the 3rd game at Molyneux - won 2-0 they gave us a good game that night too ....
Then we got their neighbours in the semi-final - we won the FA Cup the hard way those last two draws were hard draws to overcome......
That's why we were nailed on favourites for the final......
