Who we lining up for scapegoating tonight if we lose guys ?

My prediction would be McNeil.

His assist (does it count as an assist?) probably does him enough for Moyes to feel vindicated in his selection of him right midfield against Newcastle.

The poor guy is not a right winger, and I'm sure wouldn't choose that position - but that's where he'll be.

Because we all know he's not a right winger and is an eccentric selection there, we will be primed to notice every mistake. Every time he gets overtaken by defenders on the break, every time he loses the ball or circles round to use his left foot and kills attacking momentum, we'll be thinking / screaming 'HE'S TOO LEFT FOOTED TO PLAY RIGHT WING!'

That irritated focus - coupled with what should be a winnable game at home, in a climate of nervousness about any home fixture - means that I think McNeil will be the target of the most disdain.

It's not his fault, but that won't stop it.

No, probably Pickford (he was, it seems, lucky against the Barcodes)... or maybe Tarks? (he has been "bad" all season, no blocks, no tackles, has often been afraid of the opposition, backs down) ... or maybe etc etc etc

We’re at home tonight 👍

It will be the player who is an unused sub or gets 11mins to turn a game (while playing out of position).

They will be at fault for not impressing in training, not being flattering to the boss, looking at their feet when being bolloxed and liking pretty flowers (or kittens on the internet).

Hi all, just trying to get ahead of the pack really so I can spend an hour or two digging up dirt on any individual that’s been earmarked for public execution.
Thanks in advance for your help x
Keggers; it's always Keggers.

He was on for five minutes on Saturday and headed the ball straight to the chap who volleyed in the equalizer until the hand of Pickford intervened.
