December 83 that...great days.

considering your position sat on a high horse atop of the moral high ground, with such a clear view I can't believe that you can't see the difference between the letter of the law, the spirit of the law, making a poor decision and systemic corruption and dishonesty.
Come on let's not turn this great thread into the EU thread - I feel on this thread it's a 100 percent appreciation from all, and we all make it the most likeable on the GOT these days.-
I agree with the sentiment that poor Tony Kay got an OTT sentence opinions have been aired, but @McMagic has his strong views, and is a fine contrbuter to this thread - Happy new year to all the blues everywhere of all ages;)

Did he steal? Did he cheat? Thought he just bet on a match that he was MoTM in. It has since happened quite a few times now but no other banning or imprisonment. Harsh punishment indeed to all 3 players and one was an already England CB. A fine and suspension would have been apt.
Of course they cheated: what about the Wednesday fans that expect 100% from their players home & away, whether talent money or relegation
is involved at the end of the season to the clubs not involved with the fiddle. They stole money from the bookies and got what they deserved.
Most of all: Don't let the shady posters make your bullets for you lad.

Snowflake.
A person perceived by others to have an inflated sense of uniqueness or an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or to be over-emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions

Joey, your dad and brother saw the same player as me, loved him, loved Alan Ball, but Alan Came to a good Everton team that was on the way to the top, Bobby Collins came to a piss poor Everton team and helped to mould them into an outstanding team. Bobby not only worked his plums off he made every player in the team work that way too.Bobby Collins is in the top three best players I have ever seen play for Everton, a small, in stature, but an absolutely fearless
giant of a player, Oh that he was playing for this squad today, we would improve enormously in just a few games,he will never ever be forgotten by fans like me and any one who saw him, and not just Everton fans.

If there's one player from the 60s I regret never seeing in action it's Bobby Collins.
