It was just the way he shrugged his shoulders after the first one, as if to say "okay, I`ll put it in the other corner then" lol

Reid said to Sheeds right after he netted the first one "What are we gonna do about it now?"

Sheedy replied "What are WE gonna do about it? 'Kin leave it to me" lol

Cahill scored a cracking header to complete a comeback against Portsmouth in 2008. The game with the handcuff celebration.

Absolutely, I've mentioned that goal many times...not necessarily "flashy" but it was all heart. It's this one right here:

Not at Goodson but it was Everton.
Lakaku goal at the Etihad were he ran from just beyond the halfway line and slotted in the corner. Brilliant goal that hardly got a mention. I was there at that end so maybe it just seemed better.

Not so much individual players, but Goodison acknowledged in a big way, Bobby Robson''s Ipswich team in 1980 when they wiped the floor with us 4-0

Not sure about these days, but applauding excellent play from the opposition used to be quite normal, albeit it'd have to be really special. I remember that Ipswich game. I think we beat them 2-1 in the cup at Goodison not too long after.

I remember we applauded Arsenal off the pitch at Goodison too.
They were brilliant, it was like grown men playing the under 10,s.

Andy King goal v the R/S 1978 may not be the best ever goal we scored but took the roof off

Bryan Robson WBA 1979 volley into the Park End goal

Charity shield Everton v Man U, pen The great Royston, takes the first, scores bottom left, ref orders retake, scores bottom left. ref orders retake, third time Gaskell the United GK " where are you putting it Roy" Royston "same place mate", scores bottom left.

You mean the one where he gifted Chelsea a goal in the 3 - 6 game?

:eek::eek:

as bad as that was....no...he means the preseason friendly (porto??) where he skinned about three of their players in two touches then sprayed a pass out to the right wing
