Something more positive here.

Obscene pieces of skill you’ve seen at Goodison, from an Everton player or opposition player.

Manny Fernandes to whole Arsenal midfield and Fellaini on that rat Bellamy are two the obvious ones for me.

The Fellaini one, the crowd reaction was something else, and so was he that day.

So go on lids let’s hear them...

The Fellaini one was one of the best days I've had at Goodison. He was unplayable and that moment was truly class.

Daughter was Toffee Lady just after Fellaini made Bellendamy look like what he is & I was in reception when Duncan McKenzie walked in so I asked him if he was there to present Fellaini with the award for the most outrageous piece of skill at Goodison since he was at it for 90 minutes against Stoke.

Some memorable goals

Hibbo's free kick
Osman's curler and header both against City - plus of course the Larissa goal
A lot of Mikel Arteta's stuff - that goal against Fiorentina in particular
Bily against Pompey
Beckford 80 yarder (for 10 man Everton) against Chelsea
Pienaar slalom at the Emirates
Yak and AJ combine against Spurs - length of White Hart Lane
Van der Meyde's one decent moment when he crossed for Gosling
Jags at The Pit
Gylffi at Hadjuk, at The Pit and also, so I am told, at Southampton but couldn't bear to watch any of that game

And a few down the years - would include the Steven goal to make it 3-1 against Bayern, 4-1 against Sunderland.. Gray in the same game. Sheedy's twice taken free kick (he scored a hell of a lot of good goals), Sharp's and Mountie's against QPR (it was like time stood still as they went in and clinched the title)... not forgetting the goal at The Pit. (oh, yes, Stevens and Ratcliffe at theirs... )

Feeling ten times better already.

He did something equally boss against Portsmouth i think.

I've watched this video so many times and still love it.

Weirdly another video I've watched a lot is Darron Gibson's performance against spurs in 2013. Great performance and his distribution was magic that day. I realise it's quite an odd shout and not the point of this thread but thought I'd share anyway.

Also Fellaini's performance against United the season before we sold him. His chest was on fire that day. I would wager that no player has ever brought the ball down more times with his chest in a single game before or since.

I 'think' it was against Arsenal -
Alan Ball ran to take a quick throw in on line with their penalty box. He then relaxed his body as if exasperated that no Everton player was in position to receive the throw. As he did this an Arsenal player 10 ft from him turned his back to organise the defence. Quick as a flash Bally threw the ball and controlled the rebound from the players back to set up an attack.
