Not sure about the item in the article, but I've been a vegan over 20 years, right back to when supermarkets hardly had anything, it's a super easy to do these days, which is a good thing.

The difference in products from only 6 years ago, when I stopped eating animal products, is amazing. Be interesting to see where we are in another 5 years time, seems to be continued mass investment into this market

Sheesh, eat some meat and cheer up already.

Seriously though, if the lab meat tastes right, has no negative impact on its consumers and doesn't turn out to be part of some super intelligent hive mind that suffers horrendously when harvested, I'll give it a go.

If environmentally it is better to go to that way, it'll be a game changer and I wouldn't bet against opinion quickly becoming against animal based meat production.
