I know mate, he doesn't offer much, but he didn't really do anything wrong in this game, was hardly a final straw performance that proved he's finished at the club.

No he didnt really have enough time to do anything to be fair to the lad

I just argee with Davek is all, Maybe best to off load this summer rather than sticking with and watching his value drop even more

Or maybe hold faith with him, once felli goes in the summer which is almost certain i think now, then bring in fer and look at bringing another forwrd in whose got pace past the last man, ditch the lobbing the ball up to felli or anichebe tactic once and for all and start playing it on the ground

His hold up play last season was very good. This season it seems to have been eradicated from his locker. The tit can't stay on his feet under any pressure.

He never used to hold it up, he'd lay it off first time, adjusting his foot shape to carve the ball in the right direction. These days he tries to control it and as the ball rolls up his leg into his face he remembers that he's not so great at it and crumbles to the floor.

He obviously has some ability as we witnessed last season. I think it's the way we set up though as our emphasis is about strikers working all over the pitch under Moyes. Look at yakubu for example. Started well, got coached into running around more and scored about 2 goals a year. Moved to Blackburn, bagged 20 and got relegated.

We just are not adventurous enough to take the game to the opposition were a poacher does what they do best. We work within our means and always finish in a healthy league positon. Until we get a big cash injection that will always be the case as even with a vibrant talented side the media/officials would stiff us for the benfit of the sky favourites (Man city still get overlooked in favoure of our useless neighbours).

I must admit though that Giroud was utter garbage given the chances he had and he cost a fortune in comparison. 13 mil i think!

If he comes back into form starting next season I actually think I'll be so upset
I mean, obviously I won't, because he'd be popping in goals like its nobody's business, but **** he really offers absolutely nothing at the moment
I love Anichebe at the moment, but we NEED a proper striker :(
