Nikica Jelavic

He never used to hold it up, he'd lay it off first time, adjusting his foot shape to carve the ball in the right direction. These days he tries to control it and as the ball rolls up his leg into his face he remembers that he's not so great at it and crumbles to the floor.

Thats funny

Hate to say it but I think this is more down to Moyes' record with strikers rather than the strikers themselves. I could be wrong but I don't think so.

I said at the start of the season it was down to Fellaini -- they don't complement each other at all and Jelavic just gets so little service with Fellaini behind.

But now, whilst I think it's still part of the problem, it's clear it's not that simple. He really does look utterly gash and it's very worrying.

He is gash.

But he's shown he can stick them in when given chances in the area to his feet. So obviously we struggle to even do that and expect him to run around all over the place and jump a lot.

It's classic Yakubu/Saha. It wouldn't surprise me if we sold him in the summer. It's a shame because he looked like the striker we needed.

Want to see him starting again now. Victors done well but last couple of games has shown hes not consistant enough. We need Jelavic back in there now.

Jelavic still our main man IMO

Main men strikers dont score 3 times in 25 games.

When the dust settles on this season his form will be top of the pile in explaining why we didn't get top 5. Obviously he wants to do well and score, but it just hasn't happened. The first thing we need to do in analysing why it didn't happen for him is to stop making excuses for him. The Fellaini 'crowding out' theory (I'll hold my hands up to supporting a while back) just wont do it as an explanation. This feller has looked like he doesn't know what a ball looks like all season. It comes to him and he looks like an ale house player. It's embarrassing. He is so out of his depth (yeah, his good 'movement' yada yada yada) it's not even funny.

IMO, if Moyes is staying we'd be mad not to sell him on this summer if a reasonable offer came in (from abroad probably).

Been told by someone who has contacts with the club by taking the players to games picking them up and their friends etc that Jelavic wants out. Hope he's chatting gas like with him being a kopite cos I proper love Jelavic even if his form is shocking
