The lad turned up at the medical with no legs, just two bloody stumps. We cant blame the club for saving money on him and putting it toward the summer transfer fund instead.

Yes but think how much we will have in summer, millions upon millions. Just our luck that we won't be able to spend any because they can't pass medicals.

He did get into some very good positions to score, unfortunately he is so low on confidence this days that nothing goes his way, either its a bad touch or horrible finishing. If he could get 1 or 2 goals ( even if it were easy tap ins) I am certain it would do alot for his confidence and he could start slotting them in like last season.

The two contributions to the evening I remember was going early on a through ball to get himself offside, and that touch of a rapist when he knocked the ball back to the GK rather than collecting it and slotting. I had the general impression he worked his nuts off. No complaints on that score like.

were a couple more. One where it ended with him finishing it just over the goal. Should have been a sitter for a striker in form. Anyway, it was + for getting into the position.

I didn't think he got much in the way of chances, hard to score when you have to make your own chances from the flanks.

Seems out of confidence, poor touch on the few occasions he had the ball to his feet, don't think he will be at a club managed by Moyes next season.

He doesn't look like scoring at the moment.

Depends on the draw of course. But it's two games, one of which is Oldham at home.

Does seem oddly defeatist. I'd back Everton all day to reach the Semis.

For example, I knew we'd beat Sunderland away and bottle it against Liverpool the other year.

If we draw anyone but Chelsea next round I'd fancy us to go through and lose spectacularly in the Semis to whoever we draw, as that is what we do. But I'm confident we'll play (and go out) at Wembley this year.

If we get to the semi final I will not be going again. The last semi final bottlefest was enough for me. Not going through that again.
