How many games have we played with Mirallas, Gibson, Pienaar and Felli this year? I feel like it was 1 or two. That's our midfield, and it simply hasn't been healthy at all. Our D has no creativity except Baines and Coleman (who plays only sometimes, and gives up dumb goals, too). Our striker(s) need service, so it's all about the midfield. Look who Moyes has brought in. Gibson, Naismith, Mirallas, Pienaar twice, Ofoe denied at the last minute, Junior, and then attackers Kennedy and Jela. Clearly, he's worried the most about midfield depth, and he's right to be, apparently. I suspect that with even 3/4 of our best midfielders, we're stellar record-wise.

At least he's not Papiss Cisse.....funnily enough they've both got 14 goals in 25 league games. Unfortunately for Newcastle it's only 1 in 11 for them this year.

I don't think he was turd today to be honest. I think he's been playing below par this season, But today his effort was spot on.

He wasn't great today, but he slotted. No complaints here. Hopefully he'll get back to last season's form now. If he does, we'll stroll into europe, imo. 6 goals is not a bad return at all, anyway.

Definitely a natural goalscorer, despite having a lower goal to game ratio this season compared to last.

Although I understand the reason for having a target man like Fellaini there and it has clearly worked as intended, I think the way Fellaini works in his current role makes Jelavic less of a threat as the type of crosses and through balls he needs aren't so frequent.

I can see Jelavic getting more chances now Gibson is back in the side. He's great at threading through an early through ball and hopefully a few will fall to our boss slotter.
