Him the man

I love Jelavic.

He's boss
I completely agree. He's doing what yakubu couldn't do beyond his first season, and it's been a while since we had someone who 'knows where the goal is' as they say. Whereas everyone knows yakubu (and im not knocking him, I liked him and he was good on his day) was a bit of a one season wonder, I've got a good feeling about this fella where consistency is concerned

He's off the leash at the moment. He's a great finisher by the looks of it, but we know he'll be left isolated like all our forwards have been in the past when the matches realy count and Moyes is looking to get a result of some sort with all hands to the pumps in midfield. The Yakubu first season form should be a warning: free scoring then eventually he got worn down by the workload he was given.

Moyes needs to partner him consistently with an out and out stiker or he'll wither away on the vine...like the rest did.

He's never picked two strikers in ten years not going to start now, not that i have a problem with that the days of having two forwards standing on the halfway line are well gone.

Martinez will get it - nailed on.... Jeli ?? possible, but not optimistic

I was thinking Martinez. But, they've lost twice this month and scored 5 less goals than us while having played an extra match. Raw results aren't everything in MOTM, but stranger things have happened. You have a fair shout, but I don't know about nailed on.

Back to the thread, who else could get it over Jelly?

This is my worry, but he seems to have more about him than Yak. Next season is his big test, to do it for a full season in this league

Lets not compare other Strikers to that lazy fat horsecrap, please.
