Yeah, i just get the feeling that he could be one of those players who goes about it the wrong way. Starts ****ging us off or refusing to play...or worse, he does play but just strolls around. Hope i'm wrong of course.

I dont think he'll stroll around. he wanted to move to prem in summer and still banged in 17 goals for rangers. he wants to prove himself. he seems ambitious and i like that. if he wants to prove himself to be a top goalscorer then i hope he does it at everton

the way he celebrated his first goal for us gave me a bad feeling on this. seemed to make it more about him than the team, assist, fans, etc subsequent celebrations haven't gone better, though at least he has celebrations for me to complain about!!

does anyone know if he is looking on already though?

He's ambitious and I'm sure his handlers have a path set out for him that's been: small league in Europe with poor wages > do well and get a bigger pay packet elsewhere in another league > do even better there and land a place in a English PL team with a bumper wage > repeat the trick and move to an elite club in any of Europe's elite leagues (including England). He's getting toward his late twenties and he'll want to make that final move as soon as possible to maximize earnings.

He is playin well like but he aint one of the best! I mean he is not fit to lace Van Persie or Rooneys boots...

You wait and see. His all round game is brilliant. Pacy, strong, skillful and works his arse off. And he has done the job so far for two lesser top flight clubs. I would love him at us but obviously it aint gonna happen.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Jelavic is one of those players who has no loyalty? Don't know why but i have a feeling that in the summer or maybe next January he will sudenly start spouting about playing for a 'bigger' club. 'I wan't champions league football' etc etc

I can't put my finger on it, he just looks like a mercenary.

They're all mercenary mate plus we are a selling club if liverpool, utd, arsenal, spurs, city, chelsea come calling.

I think in light of Rangers current financial situation, perhaps we can thank them for Jelavic by holding an end of season game with all monies given to Rangers. It could be billed as 'El Brassico'.
