If he keeps this form up or anything resembling it, we wont be keeping him too long. And to be fair, regardless of the club's thinking on it, I think he's the type who'd want to seize a new opportunity rather than stay put. He was only at Rangers for 6 months when he was talking about wanting a new challenge. This feller is a rolling stone.

Agree with this. If he carries as he is (and lets hope he does) I can see the rumour mill gaining momentum. Get your tin hats on!!

Dave has never, EVER been confronted with a piece of good news he couldn't turn into something negative. It takes a special talent to be that unwaveringly dour.

Omg Moyes it's taken you 10 years but you've finally brought a striker that knows we're the net is. this lad is class. 8 goals so far. Hopefully make double figures this season. An next season this guy should be a 20 goal man.

I have read somewhere that he is first Everton player to score in five sucessive away games since late 70's, but I don't know if Wembley semis can be counted as an away game(Swanse,Sunderland FA,Norwich,FA semis,Man Utd)

While I really like the look of Jelavic and he definitely knows where the net is, Im also a little wary of labeling him the new messiah.

A lot of strikers have come and hit the ground running only to falter away after the bubble has burst.

Yony Yeboah?? Amir Zhaki?? Kevin Campbell?? Pappe Cissi??

I have a good feeling about him but the true test is over time- I hope hes still slotting all over the show from August onwards!
