I can assure you most American Evertonians would rather dawn Nike rather than having to explain the rooster and Le Coq on their back..

I don't think you are necessarily at the forefront of their thoughts though mate.

At least you can blag them by saying, "It's the main rival of LaCoste in France", unlike us cos everyone knows you can get 2 t-shirts for £6.

As long as it has Prince Ruperts Tower on the left of the chest I aint really arshed who the manufacturer is as long as it looks good.

I liked the 70's style tracky tops the other night btw, are they Le Coq our our own ?

The current kits are ace, but nike would offer us a larger market and we would hopefully get a better deal money wise, just hope they wouldn't look like other nike sponsored kits. I like the indviduality of our Le Coq kits.

I have given this a bit of thought and I have decided............ I am not bothered.

I would have any kit if it made the club a fortune. When I was younger I would look at lower league teams like Crewe and think "why do we have an Umbro Kit and they have Addidas??!".

But now, if the club announced tomorrow that George of Asda had signed a £30m a year deal to make Everton's kit, I would be doing backflips
