That Watched Toffee lid is saying AVB is on the shortlist, and Moyes wants Dyche, Moyes and Tim Sherwood. I highly doubt this is true.
Later, someone asked what he was on apart from glue - WT replied "your mum". Think that tells you everything you need to know about him.
Still fairly certain we won't be getting Koeman.
If his replacement is hip, then why not?Anyone else think 'Roberto's hip replacement' when this thread appears?
houllier signed xavier 3 years before the fat spaniard took over
I'd love Koeman just for the inevitable nepotism. Only this time it would be the good type - not the one that results in Alcaraz, Mac and Kone.
Personally I wouldn't mind a spine of VVD, JWP and Tadic through the team. The gulf in fitness and conditioning between us and them 2 weeks ago was just frightening.
Of all the current Prem managers, Koeman is the best choice but also quite a pipe dream. I wouldn't have sleepless nights over Pellergrini, but he isn't my first choice.
Flores or Benitez - not for me thanks.
I was meant to quote Walter ego mate .i know he did - dunno why your telling me that for mate though as i made zero reference to him?
De Boer still stands out for me. Mainly in the hope that Stam comes on and teaches our defenders how to defend.
Bergkamp would be great with them too but imagine he'd get the Ajax job should De Boer leave.
Eddie Howe may well turn out to be an excellent manager. Who knows?
But dont really fancy us being used as a sample to see if he will be. I am happy to stand corrected, but has he, like ever, managed anyone with actual expectations of success?
I'd like to see him have a couple more seasons' development at Bournemouth firstI don't get this, I can understand the sentiment of wanting someone who has won I don't know some cup or league, but your talking a small pool of transient mangers, that coach the first team in the main, we need a long term club manager.
What are we asking a new manager to do, bloody the nose of higher placed clubs - Eddie Howe has done that, relatively speaking if he did at Everton we're assailing the CL and being compeitive for trophies.
I think he deserves to be an option, more so then some I've seen here.

Fair enough.
I would rather have a proven manager, not the latest new kid on the block.
Like Mike Walker.
