The end part yes, people get job offers and take time to see all their options all the time of their a high end canidate.
Yes, but you generally don't explicitly say to one potential employer that you'll defer making a decision on their offer because you're waiting for something better.

Hardly conveys enthusiasm and dedication

As nobody else wants to give an update and I suppose it's left to me (seems like all the other ITK's have gone quiet!)

Meeting with Emery reps took place today.

Very productive meeting and Emery clearly wants to be a manager in the Premier League and our 'project interests him greatly'.

Buy out clause and salary are not an issue.

BUT Real Madrid are......

Essentially if we want Emery, we need Real to win on Sat.

Then this deal has a real chance of happening, if not we have our work cut out as he has a very good chance of replacing Zidane.

Depending on Saturday's outcome, Emery will be in London for further discussions and hopefully confirmed as EFC manager at some point next week.

I'm not trying to make friends or enemies, just passing on well sourced information.

At this moment, De Boer is not an option.
8 hours wait for this breaking news?!!
It's Reminiscent of a weather forecaster who has no real idea of what's going to happen so tells us that there's a possibility of rain, sun, snow, hailstone, cloud therefore will be correct one way or the other.
Unai emery, at this stage of his career, will not be considered for the Madrid post, yes very successful in Europa league but not done much in the champions league and that's what matters to Madrid.
I also believe that the powers that be at Madrid would have decided well before this week that if they were to lose the final they would be seeking a new manager and therefore would have sounded out a few other high profile managers, eg conte, allegri etc.

Are you referring to emery or koeman? If it's Emery, I don't think we can begrudge him waiting for a potential offer from the worlds biggest club. We would like to think every manager we go for, would be willing to crawl on their hands and knees to goodison, to get the opportunity to manage us. The reality is very different and that is not being disrespectful to the job at Everton. It just goes to show that we are setting our sights very high with regard to our managerial prospects @The Esk has promised moshiri has big plans for the club, netting a manager of emery's stature would reflect that.

How come arsenal and Liverpool have bought players this week? Or is it they can't be registered til 1st July?

They have done all the paperwork , just will be confirmed on the 1st July so basically you get deals done now and also the ground work that got to go into buying a player, plus the manager got to watch videos if us to find our weakness and strengths before knowing who to buy.,

We do need to speed this up. Don't what the delay but something is holding us up
