All three goals individual mistakes

Distin, McGeady, Barkley

FFS
We seem to be going for some type of errors in a season Record, its an endemic of errors from our players/refs or whatever, can hardly be bothered,as it nearly game after game, its just so annoying-supposedly we have made 10 errors leading to goals this seasson

It will be both.

I sense it will be the Moyes Boys v everyone else.
I don't think it will be all the Moyes boys but today can't be blamed on them or a faction. Most of those that played where Martinez buys or young players who would have more allegiance to Martinez.

I think there might be a couple of senior pros who are coming to the end of their careers who aren't happy and perhaps blame the tactics for their loss of form and it probably doesn't make for a happy dressing room.

We're going through a bad time and Martinez perhaps only has this window left to stamp his authority and sort out the mess but I think he can do it.

Didn't see the game today but I've just watched the highlights on motd. Here are my thoughts.

Great team goal and a great moment for Kone. Chuffed for him.
Cisse obviously should have been off the pitch for no less than 3 elbows.
The corner shouldn't have been given because he was offside/shouldn't have been on the pitch. Terrible defending, but, again, Cisse shouldn't have been on the pitch.

For their second 2 goals we shot ourselves in the foot. First McGeady giving it away and Robles being too far out of his goal and then Barkley, after doing well to track the runner, forgets how to control a ball.

What a pass and finish from Baines and Mirallas for our 2nd.

Like I said, I didn't see the game and I'm sure we were terrible and Martinez should be sacked and all, but there are still too many individual mistakes from both ourselves and the officials that are costing us points. How many points have we dropped from a winning position this season?

15.

Pienaar Mcgeady Oviedo

Fact is he's consistently playing people out of position and the team had zero consistency

Do you think chopping and changing the front 4 every week helps the team to find form

Barkley for instance, plays dm one game then moved to the wing then could find himself as an AM, Must do wonders for him
Look Del we both agree that playing players who aren't wingers hasn't helped but he is also caught between a rock and a hard place too. Those players you mentioned are either finished, not wingers or not good enough.

His mistake was not replacing Pienaar and Deulofeu with able replacements. He probably expected more from Atsu too.

However the players should take ALOT of the blame. The back 4, Barry and Howard have been pretty awful collectively and individually and look a shadow of the players they where last season, add McCarthy always injured and you can see why we have so many problems.

Distin wasn't at fault for the goal. The pass was put in a position only the attacker could reach. Distin hasn't looked good but I don't see how we can blame him on that one. Besides the goal had been coming since we scored.

Besic must have been fit if he was included on the bench. He has probably been our most consistent player this season and today we missed his ability to close down and intercept. He organises well and encourages those players around him too. I don't understand why he didn't start the game.
Barry and McCarthy.

None of the players shoehorned into the wing position s have played well though so it's a player who's not comfortable there not playing well or a winger in there who has a better chance of finding form

Plenty on here said judge our defence after at least 2 seasons with Martinez as they were not convinced he had that side of the game in his locker, our back line is a shambles and it would seem any work done by moyes had well and truly been undone

It's just sad now, this wasn't meant to be happening.

Barry, Eto'o, Distin, Coleman, McGeady all woeful. The manager has to sort this nonsense out but every single goal was a donation. I don't know how to fix that.

It's miserable right now, absolutely miserable.
