Some of the players hes signed have been phenomenal and it appears as though alot of the dross has been signed by the DOF last minute.

That being said, with the players he has and the money spent you'd really expect them to be levels (as Moyes said) above us.

He's also not been well and probably could do with a break.
It's Howe's nephew who is in charge of recruitment Zat.

I take 14th any season if the season before we had a cup win...we need a trophy badly and it cant come soon enough. Newcastle have been good for most part since the takeover, first time really they have a so so season.
Ye for sure. It’s more a pisstake of how they all thought theyd be challenging for the league by now.

I've been hearing pundits say the DOF was the one to sign Wissa, Ramsey, Woltemade and Elanga.

That things were done in a rush and Howe was just given options and those were the ones he's agreed to. With Howe being ill and Isak moving there were mitigating circumstances.

However, youre bang on there it looks like theyve spent over £200mil on 4 players who shouldnt be on the pitch.

With it being his nephew you'd assume its Howe's picks.

I think he’s a great manager personally.

Hes absolutely off from Newcastle as well - his comments recently have suggested that. But might want a break from the game, he’s had health issues hasn’t he - and he’s piled on the weight which suggests he might be in need of a break.

Interested to see who they get next? Ireola or Marco Silva might be a good ones if they’re prepared to spend big on wages. Maybe Rafael back to appease the fans? Or potentially someone from abroad like most clubs these days.
Aye, I spotted that. He looks like he maybe on steroids. The ones that cause weight, anyway enough speculation on his health. I know he’s a big evertonian, I think he’s a great manager too, I didn’t before hand and a load on here wanted him before we ended up with a few other dodgy managers. I think they will want a very high profile manager. Perseverance with Howe will have taught them a lesson, an expensive one that they aren’t used to.

Can see these with a big money offer for Thiago. Win some of the support back with an actual isac replacement.
They haven't the headroom really. Obviously unless they sell a few more at top prices - but then why would Tiago want to go there?

It's a bit of a mess there I think, they've pissed away an awful lot of money over the last half decade, and there's no clear leadership at the top either.

This doesn’t bode well for Newcastle.

If the Saudi’s are cutting back on LIV - one of their flagship sporting investments - I don’t fancy Newcastle’s chances.

Aye seems less talk of a new stadium and training ground. Dunno how this will all work out tbh. wouldn’t be surprised to see Stavely coming back in, fronting a takeover.

They sold Isak of course and that £125mil lands straight onto their books.

How can they not have room for new signings?

Probably losing billions in revenue due to the Israeli-American war with Iran and the retaliation strikes on Saudi Arabia and restrictions on getting oil out and a sizeable loss of investment portfolio value because whose wanting to invest/ move into the middle east right now whilst everything is so risky.

Buying a preening PL level footballer probably isn't number 1 priority right now.
