Are you saying the club won't win 5 games in a row to keep a man with big hair relevant?

No, im saying he won't cut it before they win 5 games in a row, he will milk the bifro for as long as he can.

Although one does wonder at what point it becomes unsustainable, should it take another few years for them to win 5 in a row.

At the moment we've gone past the point of "Tactical Approach" with the lineups we throw out. We don't fit into either posession or quick transitional counter attacks.

We have a scratching head approach at the moment, which is why we are gradually grasping at the "old school Stoke approach" to try and bail us out.

Except we dont actually have a long throw specialist and we don't know how to utilise our height advantage..

Moyes Mk 2.0 -

It's been a long week !!
You’re probably partly right, but the squad still lends itself better to counter-attacking football. And like I already said, Moyes isn’t the manager who will take the club to the next level. But whoever that manager ends up being will need reinforcements.

Seasons over for me.

After the next 2 fixtures probably be further away from a European spot.

Not worth getting invested or excited about.

Hope we get a result, be a nice surprise if we do.

Apathetic FC.

For some strange reason I think we get at least a point today. And I'm confident and slightly bemused why I think this. Usually very pessimistic
I think we'll get a pint or a win. It's the type of game Moyes thrives in.

Low possession, hard to break down and no pressure because 0-0 would be considered a good result.

But.... We cannot be first to concede otherwise I fear it'll be game over.

There's what I'd like and then there's what we're going to get.

I'd like to see George and Myko start together with Garner and Branners in their best position. I'd accept O'Brien out of position at full back and I'd like to see Tim stay in the starting line up.

He's the weak link, yes. But even he had us up to 6th / 7th a few weeks ago...underlining just how poor this league is.

It's all to play for.
It also shows we have serious quality within the team as well despite the deficiencies. Its not all down to a weak league, if at all.
