We're 3 points off a very likely european place for next season and probably 1 point off the last euro spot.

There's 33 points to play for. Why are you surrendering the rest of the season?
If results don't go our way today we could equally end up in 14th though. Also out of those 33 points left how many do you realistically see us picking up given the way Moyes seems to be meddling with the lineup all the time?

The league is rubbish. We could have an average last 11 games and pick up the required points for Europe.

We are in a very handy position and I refuse to believe we dont have the players to get near half the points on offer.

4 points in the next 2 games puts us in control again.

This isn't a big ask - it's easy in fact.

I don't disagree with any of that mate, it's Moyes I don't trust to do enough to take the opportunity and go for it.

Out of that 33 available if he keeps up with the weird team selections 10-11 is the probable number.

We need to start picking up points at home or this opportunity will pass us by, we cant rely on away results to keep in touch with the Euro spots it's now business time and every point is important, being in any European competition adds money with jersey sponsorship and TV, even the conference league would be a major positive given where we have been over the last few years.

Home form wont last.

We need a confidence boost that's all.

We can get 15-18 points in the last 11 games and set a target of 52-55 for others to pass.

That's a conservative assessment of what we can get from the remaining 33 points too.

IMO a confident team gets a euro spot.

Alright lads, let’s calm down a bit. Moyes has done a good job. Whether you like his playing style and the way he uses players is a separate discussion. In my opinion, a realistic and pragmatic approach is exactly right for the squad we have at our disposal. How many people honestly think that with the current players we should be playing a possession-based game, especially when nowadays even the very top teams build their play around transitions and counter-attacks?

He may not be the manager who takes the club to the next level, but with the current squad no one would. There is quality in midfield to play a possession-based game, but we also lack the collective ability to make a proper counter-press work when losing possession, and the defensive line is, frankly, in trouble when it comes to dealing with quick counter-attacks.

15-18 points that's 5-6 wins in 11 games, this will only happen if Moyes stops his tactical stupidity of late. His substitutions have been a disgrace and have had little or no effect on games, nobody has any idea what has been going on with corners lately, playing players out of position Branthwaite is our best CB you don't play your best players out of position.. It's like Moyes wet the bed when we were close to the champions league places, that's gone now.

Besides the point.

That's a game most teams can deploy when the time is needed to control games.

And the players we have like any other professional players in the PL can easily adapt to a passing game.
