New Stadium question

So Stanley Park is a better option eh? I would have thought the other way around, but there you go.

Well a small area of if was already a sports centre car park rather than green space. Actually, it'd be the original site for Everton's first games.

As i've said before on here, if we leave Goodison, that is the end of going to home games for me

I hope we can redevelop it, but the small area surrounding it with houses stops us.

I don't believe that. But Brennan will pull up something which backs you up so all I will say is, that I couldn't go to a home game that wasn't at Goodison.

I'm sure it's been discussed already mate, no possible solution unless there would be some kind of special Architecture to figure something out.

I think we'd be better off moving due to the size of the Goodison footprint.

I'd be open to a ground share providing it was equal

A ground share would be embarrassing as far as I'm concerned.

60,000 capacity and we'd only fill half of it.

Liverpool have a bigger fanbase so they'd fill it every week, it would give them something to laugh about.

We'd more than half fill a 60,000 seater stadium lid.

And Liverpool don't even sell out Anfield every week.

Thats what I have never got on the whole new ground thing. Yeah, for 2 or 3 games a season we would fill a 50000 seater, but unless the prices were like £10 or something, the others we would be at our usual 35-39000. So why would spending squillions on a new ground improve our matchday income significantly?

I think the board need to look at trying to get outside funding help for a new stadium with them having name rights , IMO we need to be promoting the club to these middle east playboys tell them how by them part funding a new stadium on stanley park it will make a statement of how the blue side of merseyside have overtaken the reds who once planned to build on there themselves.
