Barry Manilow. tssk tssk!
Aaaargh no,it's that Kopite beaut Barlow and his merry Take That crew isn't it?Have a little patience...
...could it be magic?
I think that’s a perfectly understandable perspective. You didn’t like Chang either then? Cool, me neither.
Even a cocks right twice a dayMatt Hughes is a cock like, no doubting that.
I don’t know much about CMC, but if more than two-thirds of customers lose money
There are quite a few who have beenUp the Bonnie Blues![]()
At least it’s not full of multi quotes12 pages of waffle and conecture about sponsorship.
Worse than any transfer thread this.![]()
If onlyDaveks gonna explode
There's no denying the shocking truth in thatThe current Stake deal worked out at about £10M (and that's probably an inflated figure btw and is nearer £8M) per annum.
That's a third (or less) of the cash we spent on a dud like Barry.
Let's not start believing that we cant do without £10M per season to make a massive statement that brings us a shed load of positive publicity. If we cant operate effectively without another £8M-£10M per year we really shouldn't be in business as a PL club...not if we have any real ambitions.
It doesnt say that anywhere because that is simply not true.
Had to look at what s**e he spouted and he couldn't be more wrong. It doesn't work like that at all. If Barry actually runs his contract down with us (he is not sold) that sum needs to be split over the course of that time. It's ridiculous to think all the cost is just on his first season. There's no denying the shocking truth in that
I was looking at the maths, that's all. One is a third of the other. I'm well aware that the sponsorship is each year and the transfer fee is only once.Had to look at what s**e he spouted and he couldn't be more wrong. It doesn't work like that at all. Agreed. And if you take the point at it's base level its incredibly simplistic.Had to look at what s**e he spouted and he couldn't be more wrong. It doesn't work like that at all.
