I think now that Brands is confirmed and Walsh is out of the door we are a much more appealing prospect to managers.

it makes a huge difference to managers looking into coming here, knowing we are going to be run properly.

That's it, and I'd like to think part of the reason for getting Brands done and dusted first off is having his input on the new manager- as McNulty suggested. If that's the case you'd hope he'd be putting names like Emery forward- and you'd also hope Moshiri went with that.

Or it's a case of 'no smoke without fire' and Moshiri (like with Koeman) will persist until he gets Silva. Wouldn't be gutted but let's go all out.

TBH, I don’t care who the next manager is as much as I want him to be the right appointment. That said, given the last two managers neither got, nor cared for, the “fabric” of the club, I think this is important in choosing the next one.
