mark hughes.

was unlucky his stoke team went down, but showed us his real credentials when keeping Southampton up.

much better stats than silva.

if this is the level we are aiming for , Hughes has to be on the short list.

never been relegated out of the prem .. I think he got sacked at QPR before relegation. that's another plus point.
We get your point.

I am clueless as to why Benitez is mentioned. He wont leave Newcastle, since he is a part of the rebuilding of that team.

van Gaal feels like is a manager that could come due to the connection with Brands. I would not be against it to be honest. He has a good eye to find players other managers have ignored in the squad and also give youngsters the extra motivational push. He did it with Muller Badstuber in Bayern and some argues he did it with Rashford and Lindgard.

One manager that is a wild card but would have been entertaining to have is Bielsa. Everton has the funds and he is a character to say the least. He could be the guy that brings the best in some of the players in this squad that was not playing at their fullest. Morgan is a good example. Imagine him under Bielsa. This could also motivate Lookman to not force a move out of Everton.

I thought a few more would have been liking the prospect of Ralph Hasenhüttl, He's free after leaving RBL and is used to working with a DoF, likes playing younger players. Definitely a shout with Emery for me.

I just want to see the players actually bricking it if they give any less than 100 % every single match. A manager that absolutely demands that as a minimum will help get the fans back on side. Evertonians expect nothing but blood sweat and thunder. For me silky skills are for the manager's consecutive seasons....Once that 'leave it on the pitch' blueprint is set in stone. Thats what I want the new manager to bring....dont really care about big names at this point.
