No I don’t see it that way at all. If he wants Everton then he would say he needs more time to think about his future.

Not only with their style of football, but they have proven themselves to be able to build good sides without spending fortunes. That leaves us with Emery. If we are to be serious about our intentions to challenge the top 4 (and the events this week are a start) then we should looking to attract a manager of the calibre of Emery.

Emery is really the outstanding prospect.
