Hardly any fat (I think about 14g)

Err, you think about 14g ?

Serious point mate, some people get overly obsessive about what they eat. It's good to eat and live healthily, but if it starts to get obsessive, then that can indicate a problem somewhere else.

Cut sugar right down. Best way to deal with food.

Exercise.. any is better than none!

Walking is the answer. I lost three and half stone with a combination of Slimming World and a three mile walk three times a week. Packed both in after Christmas, started eating cr*p again and have now gained 2 stone. Went back to Slimming World last week, starting walking again on Thursday.

Good luck!

Thats kinda what I'm doing now haha walking more and going to make the slimming world meals.
So sounds like it will work then!

Why does this not surprise me

I'm combining them.

So walking half way to or from work is boring. But if walking that distance hatches an egg or two at the same time then it's like I'm doing something with my time

I have no idea if you are male/female but if you can get to a Slimming World group it helps too. If you are a bloke then it takes a certain amount of balls to actually go. I do best when I attend - mainly because of the humiliation of being weighed by somebody else. And having to pay is a great motivator to stick to it. Otherwise it's like a parallel universe, comedy gold!

Walking's good mate, and is something which you can just fit into your day.
If you can get out over lunch for half an hour as well, then that'll help too.

Whatever you do, it needs to be a permanent lifestyle change, ot else it'll just end as a yo-yo diet.

When you decide to join the adult world (or you complete Pokemon, whichever comes first), consider a cheap step counter, 10000 steps a day seems to be the unwritten rule. Will get you up and about when simply taking in your environment isn't stimulating enough for you.

Yeah I intend to make more of an effort which is why I'm trying a casual approach rather than going running and giving up. I've been going into town on my dinner and walking around (again combining with pokemon) rather than doing nothing. Like today walked from Queen Square to Castle Street and looped around to Matthew Street and back. Got to get back to work like so can't go on a tour of the city haha its simple but the opposite of standing and playing on my phone as I used to do.

Same as in work, drinking a cup of water then making a green tea. Cutting out the coffee bar one in the morning and therefore caffeine and massively upping my water intake instead. Not been buying crisps or anything with my dinner , 3 pieces of fruit for breakfast etc. 3 weeks on that now so again committed to it now.

Just yeah, doing what I will do rather than what I will give up doing. Any benefits will be small over time but that's the plan.

Oh and planning on running up the stairs once a day in work. Not looking forward.to that, 11 flights in all and I know from experience it kills my legs off for days.

I'm male and I know I wont go to slimming world haha. I'll eat their food though. I'm not calorie counting but if I know their meals are meant to be eaten to lose weight then it should help haha

There isn't anything stimulating with Prescot road haha no matter how many times I go down it.

That is what I mean though. Instead of watching a number slowly go up I can get a little colourful animal pop up every 2k I walk
