New Healthy Start

If its in my living room i'm more motivated to do then then having to leave the house lol It is the fact i can do it without leaving, and seem to already be developing the mentality of wanting to do something rather than sit on the couch, havent even looked at play play station all week either.


That is why i'm mixing up what i do as well, wouldn't go to zumba classes but stick a 45 minute one on in the living room then i'll feel less ashamed.
I used to do a kettlebells DVD two or three times a week, but I got bored of it after a while. If you intend to stick with the home exercise, invest in a load of different ones and don't do the same one twice in a row.

That is the plan. I have insanity and marine corp ones when i want to test my fitness each week. I am doing stuff like zumba to break up the monotony, as it is more engaging. Got the DDP yoga on the go at the minute and picking up routines as well (the usual jumping jacks and stuff). I want to vary what i do, but admittedly stopped short of sticking urban fitness on lol
 
So food intake today.

Fruit for breakfast again. Dinner was jacket potato with coleslaw and tea was 2 sausages little blob of instant mash and bag of veg. Had dessert for the first time this week, half a bowl of natural yoghurt with blueberries thrown in

Plan tonight is perhaps a zumba or workout and yoga session so a good hour or so of exercise
 
Managed to do zumba 45 minutes and a much harder yoga tonight.

Although I may not notice any weight loss I have found with the zumba that my stamina has improved in 5 days. Was knackered Tuesday doing it and today felt like I wasn't actually pushing myself. So the fitness aspect is definitely improving bit by bit. The yoga was tough though, really pulling my leg muscles.

So made up, I know now I'm on my last hole on the belt and fitness improving. Once that last hole gets too loose for me then I know I'm on the right track!
 
Saturday update.

Hit and miss yesterday. Food wise had porridge pot with blueberries for breakfast. Dinner was 3 sausages, scrambled egg and beans. Didn't eat again bar an ice cream until about 9pm but had a salad pot thing from morris ons. Exercise wise walking round new Brighton was the bulk of it , but legs were tired by the end so probably covered the exercise that way.

Today's plan, going to do a 60 minute zumba thing soon and yoga and food intake will be fruit, microwave paella and a bit of spag bol tonight. But don't fey mince in anything other than itself and we are throwing broccoli into the mix as well to add a healthier turn on it.
 
Could you post pictures of you doing Zumba mate ?.

I for one would be very interested in seeing them
Haha no chance. Actually ended up doing a 55 minute tae bo routine instead. Actually tough , really drains your arms and legs through repeated exercise. Struggled at the sit up part at the end though. Going to Hit a 25 minute yoga now as well so good 90 minute exercise today and perhaps do something later if I get chance to.

Yesterday done a 56 minute tae bo workout and ddp yoga session. Was active doing housework and walking most of the day so burned a few off. Food intake was a couple of fruit, microwave paella, spaghetti bol with broccoli added and yoghurt with berries.

Today done a 25 minute kick boxing workout and 30 minute yoga with me about to have scrambled egg on toast.

I started running again on August 11 last year (I log all my times) after a 25 year absence.

My first run was 1.8m. After the first 100 yards, all of which was downhill, I was doubled up in pain, seriously out of breath and coughing my guts up.

I'm now running a minimum of 10k everyday - set a new sub 55minute PB last week. On Thursday, I ran 20 miles for the second time in three months.

I also packed in drinking at home, 90% of having fast food and eating late in the evening, generally.

I've lost four stone, gone from 38" waist trousers being tight on me to 32" being almost loose and my shirt size going from 18.5 inch to 16 inch. I'm looking to lose about another stone and a half to be my ideal weight.

My health has improved dramatically over the past twelve months and I feel so much better and have so much more energy than I did when I was a fat bloater.

You really don't do things by half do you !

Ps, with all that stuff you're eating at the mo, you must have an arse like a Blood Orange !

Haha aye I'm pushing myselfat the minute. Mainly because I want a quick result. All well and good being fitter but as I won't notice any weight loss normally I want to force myself into a position where I do. Make me more motivated that way that it's all for nothing, I mean was very tempted to throw fifa on this morning but forcedon't myself to do something. I did get the impression there as slightly more room in my everton top at the sides yesterday.

And yeah my stomach been all over the place since changing my diet. Very gassy to be honest , but I'll put that down to shock diet change
