Was there 4 gamesTalking of stadiums did any one else see the story from Eusebio? He named Goodison as the best stadium he had played in, harking back to the World Cup. I remember those games, went to all of them.
That staircase makes me dizzy just looking at that photo. They should paint the stairs like this

Would create a new form of halftime entertainment.
Did the Stadium tour the other weekend, it's great and well worth doing if anyone hasn't already - although a noticeable lack of any museum/historical related stuff. Sure it's been asked before in this thread but any ideas when/if this side of it is going to come in? Seems incredible how bad we are at marketing our own history, they spent as much time talking about Tony bellew and Molly McCann (who inexplicably have a mini mural in the south stand) as they did talking about any of the club's history. The only memorabilia of any kind is in on the first floor of the club shop, which is a 1986 fa cup final shirt (a game we lost to the rs) and a Rooney 02-03 shirt (our best ever talent that we sold)....
I thought it had already been ruled out (stand to be corrected) - I think the useable floor space was too small to exhibit everything.David France Collection - Wikipedia

That hydrolic tower building would be a good place to put his collection in
Yeah I read somewhere on here that after a consultation it was deemed not suitable to be turned into a museum space - although I suspect this is probably just an excuse to turn it into a revenue producing endeavour like cafe or restaurant. Someone said the trophies were being moved to trinity Place bar?I thought it had already been ruled out (stand to be corrected) - I think the useable floor space was too small to exhibit everything.
Plus given we are now owned by a US multi-sports outfit, they'll be looking to maximise the £££, so probably more likely to be an overpriced F&B offering.
I do agree with the original sentiment though.
