New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Its because our fans don't engage in the same way as the Dortmund fans. Don't sing and create the same atmosphere to make it a 'blue wall'. And the fact that 'we' aren't as densely packed in at the lower side. It's not the structure (apart from the wheelchair areas which take away from the intimidating factor), the step, or the roof shape.
Maybe and I'll say it again, we need the ultras at the front of the south stand getting the chants going

How many people can the Trinity bar hold? Couple of hundred? Is it even worth going down for this if there’s the risk you get turned away because it’s full?

It's quite big. I reckon another hundred more.

Is the screen that big though or is it a load of smaller monitors? The Bluehouse will probably be more attractive especially on price of drinks.

Well, if our fans saw players and teams and managers as good as BVB's supporters have over the last 20 years, I reckon the "Blue wall" would be just as legendary.

We're comparing ourselves with a club that is, literally and figuratively, way out of our league. Until someone at the top at Everton decides otherwise, we're more Schalke 04 than Borussia Dortmund.

if I stadium design inhibits the singing or atmosphere then that becomes the culture.

Seems a bit rum

I asked the question during the sale process and was told that prices would increase in line with CPI. It’s in the contract that all members will have signed as well.

I think complaining about the poor level of availability of certain beers many times, staff training and competency, limited seating versus number of members and the number of games that are now outside a reasonable time eg. Number of Monday night games etc would be more appropriate.

There is no way the stadium design inhibits the singing or atmosphere - we used to have a Church in the corner for crying out loud and that never held us back! It’s now set up to create something very very special. What’s currently inhibiting it compared to Goodison tho is imo a combination of fans feeling less a part of a group than they did and the quality Wi-Fi meaning that the fellah next to me at the Arsenal game got his phone out the moment we went 1 down and started watching the Leeds game on it instead - with the volume up! Seriously!

Just had an email about season ticket renewal. They are moving to a shorter renewal window in the spring 'in-line with other premier league clubs'. I wonder if this shorter renewal window will hit the fans who pay in blocks, e.g having to pay more sooner.

Or so they can bring in new members more quickly and therefore £££ in the coffers having realised there's some that will sack it off after one season
