New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Took about 10 minutes to get into the fanzone when it’s normally been 1-2 minutes max in the past

This was the same at every entry point as I walked down hoping to find one with no queue

I suspect more and more people are getting there as late as they can now.

In my view, the club missed the one very good opportunity they had to capitalise on fans finding new routine;

They'd do well to keep prices competitive.

People will get to the stadium early out of excitement, and begin to mould their match day routine. What's it's set, it's very difficult to change.

If prices, quality and comfort are there - people will get to the ground and spend. There's currently very little alternatives nearby so give the pull, rather than having everyone in town.

First impressions and all that.

First few I got to the ground early, but the lack of cover in this weather, and the cost of F&B - it's a no brainer to stay in town.

So is it new staff again. The sirens started to early, annoying was to low at start of team announcement, and all that safety crap which told us nothing
The sirens didn’t start too early, it was our team that came out very late for some reason. Brentford were kept waiting ages.

Having said that, there needs to be far better communication between the relevant parties. Ross of whoever it was, should have been made aware our team wasn’t in the tunnel and ready to go.

I thought it was Brentford in the tunnel early.

They were first to quite literally, everything yesterday.

What’s the obsession with wanting the other side of the ground open? It’s just stairwells isn’t it? There isn’t anything set up like on the plaza

BTW getting annoyed at the whining from some about routines or prices, count yourselves lucky that you can go given, cup games aside, the club have eradicated general sales for games this year making it impossible for non ST holders to go to games unless they pay for a membership that doesn’t guarantee a ticket from ballots

People are feeding back their experiences, good or bad. Not sure id class that as 'whining' but each to their own.

I have a ST, but know a few who don't and they've managed to get tickets for every game this season through resale. They say it's much easier than Goodison was. Not sure why you're finding it so difficult?

Considerably easier - to the point that currently I'm not intending to renew my season ticket. Too many Monday games I can't make, and the club have made it an absolute nightmare to transfer tickets so I figure i'll just go the ones I can.

I live in Hertfordshire with a young family.

I can generally make weekend fixtures, but night games are too difficult. It’s over a 400 mile drive for a match, plus time off work.

The next 5 home games being midweek night matches is a joke. As you say, it’s getting a lot harder to sell your ticket on. Thought it would be easy with the excitement of the new stadium, but struggling.

It'll only get worse too with people having to buy full price memberships that expire in a few games just to accept a ticket.

It'll be interesting to see season ticket renewal rate.

I think people should share their opinions and hopefully the club improves. The worry is they don't improve and there are a lot of empty seats in the stadium over the coming years. It wasn't long ago that we were getting under 30k for midweek games.

Same.

Can’t even get £30 for my ticket for Wednesday.

It’s a lot better and I’m glad everyone now has the opportunity to attend the match.

Sorry, meant to quote your previous post.

The home form is now an issue. One thing rubbing salt into the wounds is the club hammering home the Goodison past of the club before games on the giant screens.

Great games and great memories there - then comes the dross on this stadium's pitch to underline how the transition may have been smoothish in the first few games but is now a problem for us.

They might want to tone that down a bit until we get our bearings in this new place.
