New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Can anyone tell me if the lower south stand is as steep as the upper south, I’ve a mate and his wife coming down from Sunderland and I’ve managed to get 3 tkts for lower south, but he’s not to cleaver on his feet so hoping the lower is not as steep as the upper south.

In all seriousness: in terms of the stadium alone - because he was a disaster in all other ways - Moshiri should have at least some acknowledgment at that stadium.

He was the driving force behind that. There's no question: no Moshiri, no stadium.

We all know the truth of that statement.

I'd love us to name a set of gates down there after him and have it as a big middle finger reminder to the government and the media and the PL that we survived when they all wanted us gone.

Personally I like the clubs approach to look forward and not concentrate on the past as much, goodison was a relic to the 80s

There are the legends in Everton way and the photo wall thing

Personally I want a statue of Moyes after we lift the FA cup not going on about the 80s team

While there is an element of truth to all this i don't think the goodwill would stretch that far in all honesty.

Especially given he nearly flogged us to a Ponzi scheme that burgled a load of pensions, and then went bankrupt.

No mate, there's no 'element' of what I said that's true - all of it is. It's a cast iron certainty that if Moshiri hadn't have dynamically pushed and backed a stadium at the docks we'd still be at Goodison.

I as much as anyone will call him down on his calamitous time at Everton as owner, but that stadium is all down to his will. It's the stadium he got built and no one can ever say it isn't.

A current player or manager should never get a statue, the only player or manager of a statue is (outside of the holy trinity) should be someone like Harry Hatterick or Big Nev.
