New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I am in Trinity Bar and there is the same issue still notwithstanding there are more seats now than at the start of the season. The explanation i got from the club representatives was that it was sold as a bar experience. The only fans who get seats are those who queue 3 1/2 hours before kick off. I pointed out it isnt really a bar experience because in a bar people come and go over time whilst here fans stay until kick off, so it doesn't feel like they are going to add more seats, or shelves etc to put food/drink dow

Much better. Everyone has an opinion and great if you think it was better. I have been watching Everton since 1970, the facilities now are better, the standard of football now is better, the fitness of the players, the level of skill, the pitches. Don't believe old folk who think everything was great in the past. They were just younger. In the Nottingham Forest programme the club looks back to a previous match (inevitably a victory) and the game chosen was from 12th November 1983 . The attendance 17,546
It is interesting when you look back at even the 80s. The game was slowed down so much by allowing the keeper to pick up a back pass.

Conflicted on things like statues.

I think the ones at Goodison should stay there.

But I also think we need our heritage visible at BMD.

We can build a statue to whoever gets us the FA Cup winner in May.
How would you feel about the statues being recast / duplicated for BMD?
I like the GP ones and would have no issues with duplicating them personally, however I’d also like a few more of some other historical figures who won stuff.

A Catterick, Kendall & Royle one
A Labone, Ratcliffe and Watson one
+ a Neville Southall one as well (but not the one against the post one as thay was his abject disgust on how crap we had become and I'd rather have one of him leaping in mid air pulling off a worldie save)
I’d be happy to see him sulking at the post. They could call it Nil Satis Nisi Optimum because that is what his protest symbolised: standards.

Still, I won’t spend a brass farthing in that place until they screed that roof.

I’d love a ‘mid air’ statue. A feat of engineering - I assume some kind of magnetic levitation involved.
