New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Again, I was responding to @Foot Long Hot Dog and his view that this is all down to Elstones lack of ambition. He's part of the decision making process? Yeah, no problem with that. I just don't agree with making him the fall guy on something he's certainly got no control over.
I didn’t say it was 100% down to him though you created a straw man argument, I said his lack of knackers and pragmatic bean counter mindset makes the lower capacity an easier task and is patently the one he’s pushing for, as his previous form amply demonstrates btw. Hilarious that you’re defending Elstone in order to protect your prime agenda btw.

You stated:

"I think Elstones pragmatic bean counter view on everything puts a brake on real ambition, the sooner he goes to the world of egg chasing the better as far as I’m concerned...So get Elstone out of the door Farhad and bring in someone with some balls and a true vision."

How is that you not putting it down solely to him?

So is @Foot Long Hot Dog correct to state that it's Elstones limited ambitions that will be responsible for any lowish capacity, because that's what the debate is here.

He is a part of the group who decide it. It won't be one person on their own. So, hed be as responsible as anybody else around the table.

Not that we know the capacity yet like..... hed be as responsible for 50k as he would for 60k

That's like saying because I didn't win the Euromillions 15 years ago I didn't get to marry Angelina Jolie !
Not True.
If we had a stadium in that location, a much better location than BMD, we would have certainly been targeted for a massive takeover. Instead we got stuck with Billy Liar and his empty pockets whilst Philip Green fleeced the club with huge interest rates on loans.

Sickening that Kenwright is still here after so many failures. The day he finally gets his grubby claws out of the club, is the day we can finally begin to grow.

Yep, Kings Dock would have been heaven.

I suppose I shoyld rephrase that.
It would have been far more likely if we had KD.
It was strongly rumoured that they did look at us....being at GP was seen as a big disadvantage and City having a virtually free stadium was a big advantage

Sheikh Mansours people DID approach Everton around about Destination Kirkby times. They recieved (and I qoute):

No encouragement to proceed.

I suspect it was more the "exclusivity agreement" that meant nothing was possible, but it again highlights how many stupid business decisions have been made since whenever it was, 1994? !995 he got his grubby little mitts on the train set.
