Where are all these extra fans coming from? Our average for the last ten years is 36,500. Our best averages ever were in 62/3 51,460 and 69/70 49,531 both times we won the league and standing was normal and cost much cheaper. Would love 60k but I can't see us increasing by 20k to fill it no matter how good we become.

I want a 60k+, but im realistic enough to realise that its mostly my heart and not my head thinking.

The recent Arsenal City league game reported around 58k, but my mate who went said only 20k or so were in attendance. They have a high number of SC holders at Emirates as we have(46k) but rather than the attendance registering the cards that go the through the turnstile, they count the number of tickets sold, match day and SC holders. unnatended seats is slowly increasing problem at most clubs.

If I can't go, I'll try and shift my ticket to a mate. I've even given it free when I couldn't time off work. I hate seeing empty seats, but nowadays, all our games are televised, and even though they are not always on S£y or BT, they are availiava on IPTVor streams.

When it rains or snows, some of our snowflake glory hunting Johnny come lately's can't be arsed attending, hence empty seats on show.
