It's all irrelevant anyway because the Government have said they have no intention in considering a law change.
The FsF think a change in the law isn't required

Wouldn't need to be very big then...I would like to see safe standing. Not in Goodison, but definetely our new stadium should consider our version of Dortmund's Yellow Wall stand. Would be amazing to see our most vocal fans going there.

I've stood in the past, home and away, had some great experiences, and some not so great(getting led onto the pitchside out of the Kop at the Ratters Derby 1986,after bad overcrowding on the terraces)I just think it's in the past now, if "safe standing"happens it's one small step back to those days, let's remember since the inception of all seater stadia, how many people have lost their lives?also I think it's disrespecting those souls who did die at football in standing terraces if this was to happen, just my opinion.
Maybe,I just know a number of disasters at football grounds in Britain all occurred when standing areas were in place, nothing thankfully has ever happened since all seater stadia started.Implying that it is somehow unsafe is just incorrect.
In fact if safety is your main priority then you should be all for safe standing.
We all know now that hillsborough had nothing to do with standing. Imagine that whole scenario of overcrowding, poor policing & fencing with a load of seats there as well. It would Possibly have been even worse
