New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Have to say it hit home going to the Chinese supermarket today.
Turning in to Bounadary street the magnificent ground stood tall from a mile away....but jeez it's grey and the HD wording is finally bugging me, although i've said nowt up to now. Not a badge or a bit of blue in site....even from 150 metres the token crests are hidden.

Driving home past Stanley park..boom.
Yep Goodison looked tiny but the royal blue gable ends on stands and the massive white G O O D I S O N shouts home.
Not even any signs on tall posts on boundary street saying the home of Everton.
Dave K gets stick but he's right with this one.
Why have we not even done the Everton stuff on the seats yet?
Can't just be down to upsetting the sponsors surely? Quite strange the lack of identification this ground has.
I thought the same on my first visit in August but truly thought it'd be sorted now.

I get this sentiment but what is the worry here? Do you know it’s the Everton stadium? Of course. Does anybody who has ever been within 150 metres of it know it’s the Everton stadium? Yes.

I’m not sure what group of people we are meant to be concerned about here.

I love seeing blue and white mate. I don't blame you for questioning me about my thoughts but i am just baffled by the low key aproach to this ground.
Goodison was known by everbody for over 100 years but it did not stop them from plastering the point it was our home as soon as you left queens drive.
Even southport have their seats showing their name as most clubs do.
As i say i'm just saddened and dissppointed by it.👍 It is wrong.

35,000 gate.

That's pathetic for a country that's playing it's last British friendly before the World Cup finals.

The Welsh and the Irish fill that stadium under those circumstances.
It's a Tueday night Dave, people have better things to spend their money on than a jarg friendly, and there's more people live in London than the whole of Scotland.

Let them enjoy the game, the ground and the City.

Just had a mosey at some old photos of Goodison. This is from 1938, nary any outside signage about the club. I don't know when exactly the outside of the ground became more heavily advertised.
