New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I’m sick and tired of the cretins around me. No helpful words cross their lips, just an endless stream of LAD, calling every player crap, and going red in the face.

Listen, I love a shout. I especially love a moan, but I don’t shout just to hear the sound of my own voice.

Go and find something else to do. Jesus Christ.
This has dampened my experience on a few occasions this season and it is starting to annoy me more with each passing game. Too many supporters throughout the ground will shout abuse at players and it creates an unpleasant atmosphere. Yes, our squad is by no means the finished article but that does not justify calling certain players awful every five minutes.

It's very kopite-esque.

The club needs to work with fans to improve this.

Although Kinnears thoughts on stuff like this is very limited by all accounts.

A interview here and there is all he’s willing to do.

Why not get the guys to train at Hill Dickens for a bit instead of Finch Farm. Get familiar with the pitch and the size of the place.
Just a thought.

The size of the pitch is actually a big problem for the football we play. Home form may have been bad last year anyway but Goodison tight and compact. BMD maximum size like Wembley.

Bring in the touchlines on both sides. It's not like we actually play with overlapping full backs anyway...

My theory is the new stadium has created a certain sense of entitlement in some of our fan base. They expect a magic wand to have suddenly been waved cause we've rocked up at shiny new HDS and we are going to sweep all before us, ignoring 30+ years of generally being mediocre - Terrible. Goodison probably created a certain amount of pragmatism in people's minds.

Saying all the above it's not an excuse really. Fair enough shouting and temporarily losing it when we implode and throw a game away in 5 mins, however, if your turning up and doing that from minute 0 maybe try another past time.

The problem is your second paragraph. We've done more than enough to win against West Ham, Wolves and Bourmouth (there may be others). In all three of those games we were one up for large periods of the game and just needed to kill it off which is something we can't do. We can look at blaming the pitch dimensions etc etc but in those three games if we had a functioning strike force we'd be 2 or 3 up and cruising. That's an extra 7 points right there.
