who is the marquee striker that they sign for us

we need a wayne rooney, a ruud van nistelrooy, a thierry henry, an eric cantona, a teddy sheringham, a les ferdinand, an alan shearer, a carlos tevez, a robin van persie, a dimitar berbatov, a harry kane, an erling haaland, an andy cole, a dwight yorke, a sergio aguero, a michael owen, a didier drogba

who is banging in 20 goals for us every season
We couldn't get those players when it wasnt 40 years since our last title or 31 years since our last cup
We're less likely to attract that calibre of player now

All the Managers they’ve sacked mate

Don’t think money is the issue

But moyes must simply be given

A target - and an ultimatum

As therye backing him so I
Want to see results now for the second window and this will be the biggest spend

Therye business man they need to sort it out
They have sacked Roma managers as they need to them to be successful ie get Europe. Moyes is safe unless we are in trouble as going down would lose them money. They are businessmen only interested in profit. Better owners than Mosh but I don't think we should be expecting success on the pitch with them.

Oh well.

Then we will all just complain again next season.

Mosh had pros and cons for sure, definitely splashed the cash(too much) got involved in too many decisions but his legacy will be the stadium.
TFG's legacy might be more of the same 'stability' we've been half drowned in. Jury's out if they are better yet

They're here to exploit that stadium and attract another owner who'll hand them a billion for it.

Massive mark up.

Dont have any faith in this lot. They're here to exploit. Full stop.
Business people? Buying an asset and selling for more than they bought it for? Heaven forfend!!! Have the church elders been informed? If this is their plan, the asset will need to be performing well, and not in any distress. Also, the buyer will need to be able to afford this. Thus, they will need deeper pockets than TFG. Sounds OK to me

I dont give a shiny one about these spivs.

And no, it wont mean necessarily a better owner with bigger pockets to spend.

I heard a good point being made today , TFG own Everton Football Club, but only 50%. hear me out, the other 50% is owned by the fans, because without fans the club is nothing, so if the fans let the owners know that they are not happy the owners will not be happy as we are the ones who put most of the money into the business.

if they decide to keep Moyes he will have a small window next season to win the fans over, otherwise they will turn very quickly and let the owners know that he is not the man to lead us going forward.

If they read social media they would see that now, but once the games start getting played and results are similar to now then things will become very toxic quickly
