I'm genuinely grateful to TFG for saving the club , and make no mistake about it that's what they did. I shudder to think what would have happened if 777 had actually taken us over.

However I do think that TFG are very content to do the bare minimum to maintain PL status for Everton.

Seemingly their lack of ambition is matched by the manager.
It’s mad how after only 17 months of a new owner, and a first season in our new home, that things somehow feel stale.

They had to try and settle club down and give us a base to build on, and they done that. They may have been restricted to do more than they did.
They spent more on wages for a player than any previous chairman did, they also supported the recruitment team with big money for a teenager. They brought a manager in who looks up and not down. They have improved the club massively commercially, and have managed to bring in events we’ve never ever done before. They’ve done well so far, the next 12/18 months will show what their true long term intentions are.

Unfortunately for them we have an entitled fan base who have no sense of reality.
Moyes looks up when it suited him - when he just arrived. As time progressed he likes to mention safety from relegation which suggests he also looks down quite a bit too.

Thirty one years without winning a trophy, whilst former lower division clubs like Brentford, Brighton, and Bournemouth are all achieving better league finishes whilst Sunderland after only twelve months have achieved European football.

The last thing our fan base is, is entitled.

I could see Friedkins going for Fabregas, done a great job with Como getting them champions league this season, rival to Roma so would benefit both clubs (obviously he could turn out crap in the PL so wouldn't benefit us but surely worth the risk ?)

They brought in a manager that divided the fan base from the start. Nothing to do with entitled. It's just football. Very few managers who get so long at a club without winning anything or doing well against the main rival will be popular

Wouldn't a rebuild have been much smarter with a less polarising manager?

Fabregas is deffo worth the risk, but a lot of our fans prefer the the comfy slippers and cardy of moyes to keep us safe in the prem, basically treading water.

Why on earth would someone swap CL footie with Como for us????

Hahaha
Moyes looks up ???
You are thinking of someone else entirely.
The only thing Moyes looks up is how many draws to safety and how many noughts he has in his bank balance.
You also forgot to add to the list of things these sepps have done is to raise the ticket price exponentially.
You can’t keep the septics from a good price gouge.
