It’s a cowardly tactic not being open to explain the rationale behind the different levels of increase for different parts of the ground. Out costs have not gone up by different amounts depending on where you sit in the ground.

Most people would understand a CPI increase even if they did not like it.

In any business situation, increasing prices to your customers requires an explanation/justification but the club hierarchy have abdicated their responsibility on this one.

Does this also mean that the club just routinely accept price increases from our suppliers without challenging them and trying to minimise cost add-ons?
It's too late now, but yes they should have come out with a more robust rationale as to why this was done, agreed.

I'm not sure it's cowardly, but just dumb.

It's arrogant, dismissive and lacking common courtesy. I'm glad the fan advisory board called them out.

I'm staggered there's been no official announcement.

As I said the other day, the strategy appears to be: Never apologise, never explain.

We'll see how far that gets them at this club.

They've got an issue brewing at Roma between Ranieri and Gasperini...

Gasperini talking about his future already, been there 12 months and Roma chased after him big time.

Stormed out his presser today in tears

That's the risk you take when moving a manager to a senior role, they are still the manager at heart..

Let's hope they apply such standards to Everton as they do for Roma.

Owners with intent to make us a success would grasp the nettle here in the summer and thank Moyes for his stabilisation but punt him for his limited abilities - having already secured Iraola.

I’m going file this under

“It’s a point of view”

I personally think Moyes has done enough to be kept on rather than punted

Iraola is going to Bilbao Davek
