people seem to forget that we have only been in this new shiny money making stadium for less than 6 months

we are still operating at a significant loss and will continue to do so for the next few years

2021-2022 - -44.7 mil
2022-2023 - -89 mil
2023-2024 - -53 mil

total losses over last 3 years = -186.7 mil

we now have to wait until april to see what our financials were in 2024-2025

its very unlikely that we will be in a healthy position financially until that -89 loss is wiped off in April 2027

until then we have to be careful with our spending

Is right to an extent, we will be freed of the 3 year trailing losses on July 1st. But Moyes has stated multiple times there is money to spend. That doesn't mean they should/will spend, but certainly if the deal is right for a RB or an attacker, we have the funds to do it (or at least a loan if it's available).

of course there is money to spend, we spent a lot of money in the summer

we just can't be silly like in the past with the spending

we need to find the right players for the right prices and spend the money that we do have wisely

I think PSR disappears after this season, replaced by squad cost ratio, not sure where we stand on that though but may need to be careful with any increased costs

We spent a lot of money in the summer to help secure the investment we hadn't spent a penny in over 4/5 years they had to spend money to make sure we didn't go down.

There's a chance to go for it here in January and where are they focusing, Roma.

24 25...women's team and goodison park sale...this is/was the opportunity to maximise psr before the rule change

it looks like we did take advantage of something before the rules changed so hopefully that reflects in the accounts
