Everybody loves to see players signing for Everton but our recent history of having a bloated squad full of costly players should have taught us the lesson to tread carefully.

I would be satisfied with a loan or two in this window as being able to sign better players is difficult this month. We may have a chance if there are targets approaching the end of a contract but other than that it is a difficult market.
We should have Gana and Ndiaye back for the Leeds games, hopefully Branthwaite can be at least on the bench for that game, Keane will be available again after Leeds and that would leave KDH and Alcaraz as the two that there is no real timescale for at present.

We are out of all cup competitions so we know exactly how many games to play until the end of the season.

Well I wouldn’t say the Sunderland squad is on par with Barca, but they seemed to be doing OK, while our main tactic is pass it back to Pickford & HOOOOOF!

Fair point but let’s be honest, we’ve probably got the worst fullbacks and strikers in the league.

We don't have any idea how much they have their hands on with Everton or Rome (there's a thing called video conferencing) but I do know it's way too early to judge them yet. Club was in bad shape and in one year we are now a boring midtable team and finances seem sorted out. Don't know what people expected. What you shouldn't expect is them to sign players. They have signed people to do that plus they gave money for that which is exactly what owners should do. And they definitely shouldn't be sacking those people immediately.
