Things could have been so much worse.

The 777 Partners finance scandal involves co-founder Josh Wander and CFO Damien Alfalla being charged in October 2025 with a $500 million fraud scheme, allegedly using fake documents and double-pledging assets to deceive lenders and investors in their complex sports and airline empire, leading to financial instability, lawsuits, and the collapse of airlines like Bonza, all while failing to buy Everton FC. The scheme allegedly involved misleading investors about the firm's health to secure funding, resembling a "house of cards," and resulted in regulatory action from the SEC and criminal charges.

That’s how kenwright got away with it for it for so long when people used to say at. Least he’s not Peter Johnson

After the 4th kit debacle on Saturday, its apparent that our new overlords are solely interested in making money, over the cost of trying to win stuff. They'll be more than happy to tread wate, as long as we're buying all the kits for our kids and filling the stadium.

I'll reword it. As long as we're a premier league club, they'll happily milk the fans and reinvest as little as possible into the playing staff or an ambitious coach.
We’re a little over one year into their ownership, I think some fans were expecting too much too soon. It’s going to take multiple years and the progress is going to be gradual, they’ve said as much themselves.

Not that it’s looking likely be an immediate problem, but any experts on Multi club ownership know if the corporate structure these have set up negates any same completion issues?
I read City Group and Redbull and Forest owner when he thought they might fall foul of it, have mitigated it with revocable blind trusts for one of the clubs involved.
We seem to have a more complex arrangement with a bit more than arms length between clubs, but of course still clearly owned by TGF.
Would they need to put a club into a blind trust or does the corporate structure negate the requirement?

Our competent professionals are ahead of the game here. They've solved the probem by ensuring they spend no money on Everton and by keeping David Moyes as manager. If you want Europe, get a Ryanair.

10,000 kits sales is equivalent to 1 place in prize money
