Looks like we did indeed sell the women’s team in the last FY. Presumably had a PSR shortfall to make up but extra headroom will pull through to this summer.

Everton can announce that Chief Financial Officer James Maryniak will leave the Club next month following the opening of Hill Dickinson Stadium.
James has served Everton for eight years in a variety of senior leadership positions. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December 2023, having filled the role in an interim capacity prior to that. He joined the Club in 2017 and has served as Deputy Finance Director and Financial Director.
James said: “I leave my time at Everton with an overwhelming sense of pride. It has been a privilege to be a part of a close-knit management team that has fought so hard for this club and the decision to move on from Everton has been one of the most difficult of my life.
"However, with financial stability restored, and the new ownership fully transitioned into their role as custodians of this great club, the time is now right for me to spend some quality time with my young family before embarking on my next career move."
James added: "I am so grateful for the unwavering support and encouragement that I have always felt in my time at Everton and I’m very lucky to have worked with some incredibly talented individuals who put everything into driving this club forward daily.
"Looking forward, the future is extremely bright for Everton. The comprehensive capital restructure that has been delivered provides long-term strength and stability to the Club and, coupled with the opening of Hill Dickinson Stadium, provides a real platform to restore the Club to its rightful place within English football, which Evertonians so richly deserve.
"I wish The Friedkin Group, Angus Kinnear, the management team and all colleagues nothing but the very best for the future and I have every confidence that exciting times are ahead for this special football club."
Everton CEO, Angus Kinnear, said: “James will be very much missed and I want to personally thank him for his many years of service to the Club and for his personal support to The Friedkin Group. We wish James all the very best for his next chapter and look forward to seeing him at future games."

We can conclude on how TFG perform in the transfer market at the end of the window.
They definitely deserve credit for quietly and efficiently selling the women’s team including GP.
Whether that was to help the recent PSR year or to provide transfer headroom for the new PSR year, we will see (probably a bit of both).
just a reminder of Uncle Todd's first summer window
they spent 278 mil on Cucurella, Sterling, Koulibaly, Hutchinson, Chukwuemeka, Casedei, Wesley Fofana, Aubamayang, Slonina, and Zakaria
they also signed Tyler Dibling but due to some issues he only stayed for 6 weeks and then returned back to Southampton
lets see if Uncle Dan follows suit in the spending department
me tooI can think of better ways of spending 278m.
Yep, and let's hope we take that chance. Time will tell.if you can’t be optimistic mate or ok more so “ a plan “in place for once instead of the club sinking into the abysss
i’m not saying we’re smashing the top4 and winning everything
we have a CHANCE to try and rebuild the 10 plus years we’ve been a joke
Yep...and it wouldn't be on EvertonI can think of better ways of spending 278m.
