Leicester and it seems Forest are just 2 teams that turned it around in 12months.

Probably more examples, but it doesnt happen much.

The club has been asset stripped for 3 years now.

I think its fair to say it will take a little time to move us up, to where we want to be.
Yeah some progress is fine, we're also doing fine as it stands. Did I want/expect more players - yeah, sure, but if Moyes can bring us to safety earlier with this same squad - why overspend when we know where this takes us? He's also usually very good at judging the ability of the available players and the expectations from them, so not getting 10 players yesterday tracks.

As does only getting some random loan who probably won't see much playtime, but is an interesting addition (especially if we get to see less of Doucoure).

Come the summer break if/when we have a new DOF, stadium, and all - yeah, improvements are needed across the board, I'd expect quite a bit more incoming players - we'd need a striker, full backs, a cannon to fire Ashley Young straight into the sun, maybe keep Charly, hopefully keep Branners, and so on. We'll probably go for somewhat cheaper utility players with experience and a youngster or two to fill the gaps as well, I don't expect anything overblown. Hopefully get to finish comfortably midtable, sadly also probably will get pumped in the cups by some random lower league teams, as is Moyes tradition.

We cant even get a hello off them never mind a stadium naming rights deal.

And they had the chance to back the manager last month and didn't.

Strike 1 as they say over there...
We said the Summer.

So come back in 5 months and we can take another look.

And I hope they never say hello, I dont wanna see them, I wanna see actions, not words.

Oh sorry, so they DO need a critical kept on them then?

Righto.

The above seems like a good start.

Im not as anti-KT as I was, but the rest all seem very doable and would certainly give me confidence in them.
Im not convinced but we dont know how much he shackled by the new owners this window or if he was.

Was he not buying just for the sake of it like going for the our 4th and 5th choice option, maybe his top targets weren't available now but they could be in the summer.

Its hard to tell really, i certainly wouldn't be disappointed if he went this summer.

I'm also appalled they didn't perform some North Korean rite of passage ritual where they wave to the fans from the top of a very high place, yes.

?

Taking it you were a huge fan of Kenwright, Moshiri and The Headlock Victim's leadership then, as they were very visible for quite a long time :)

It's called 'ignorance' mate.

Not even a video message for the fans.

That isn't being quiet and unobtrusive, it's insulting.

Do you think they'd have done the same to that 'kin lot over there?

IF we can improve on him, then sure, bullet him.

But meh, I wouldnt be totally against giving him a run this Summer, but its not up to me, its Daveys call I suspect.

Well January prices are absolutely mental so I'd hope it was a joint decision to not get players we can probably get for more normal prices in a few months. Honestly early movements (late May/early June) will show if this was true or not, regardless of Thelwell staying or not.

Im not a 12 year old girl, so I dont need my football club owners talking utter biscuits for 7 years.

How did that work out for Moshiri? He made quotes and he got shredded for them.

So as above, if they can kindly keep them mouths shut and their wallets open, we can get along nicely.
