Im actually with davek on this one.

I trust these owners as far as i can throw BMD. Their investors and want profits from their investment.

Look at their time at roma, it's just mental. They spend well their first summer €130m ( -€110m net) the following two seasons they spent a combined £28m ( +€137m net) they pretty much sold most of the team out from under Mourinho then sacked him.

While he was 9th he was only 5pts outside of the CL spots. Then they spent €100m (-€70m net) on a unproven manager like de rossi. Who they sacked 4 games into the season, absolutely mental.

Then theres the fact they'll be putting debt onto the new debt free stadium that we had to go through low spending transfer windows, selling our best players, pay day loans and points deductions to get the benefit of and they just rock up and throw their debt onto it.

Fact dyche would still be here if he hadnt of basically quit/forced their hand.

Our new board is basically aload of people who are in texas and have nothing to do with the club, no ceo and the same people who were ballsing it all up before.

Just like kenwright before them their lucky we hired Moyes because if they didn't we'd be paddling down dirt creek without a paddle heading for a massive drop into the championship.
Debt free stadium? We had £600 million of loans at crippling interest rates. Now we have a stable long term mortgage at a manageable rate.

So you agree we had a debt free stadium.

The club was in debt but so is every club in the PL. Any owner could of sorted that out debt.

Not every owner would of put all the debt onto the thing thats going to help us be stable in the future.

That's nonsense. Every club that has debt effectively would have their stadium against that debt. People don't lend money against thin air. If we'd defaulted in our loans to Phillip Green he would have been entitled to take a percentage of the club, which includes the stadium.

We never had a debt free stadium, what nonsense.

And yes any owner could have sorted that out, with the queue of qualified buyers lined up when Moshiri was selling would prove (yes, that is sarcasm).

Taking the piss.

Briefing all the client journalists like Joyce and Boyland to get out there and tell Evertonians Dyche had turned down new players and said he couldn't;t hack it any more...and now a window with a load deal for a Southampton reject for 4 months.

Remember this window, because you'll get more of it in the summer - all but a few of those released will likely be replaced by new signings.

They'll do this on the cheap because they want to start creaming off profits from that stadium.

Anyone who thinks this lot are the solution are the same ones conned by Moshiri.

Some people never learn.

The real judgement starts in the summer but they haven’t got me excited one bit.
Yup, there has been no splash at all. I'm surprised at how understated it's been. Maybe December/January was not the time for excitement, but I'm very cautious now about what these fellas will do for us. The old "stability" canard is being played a lot lately - but we have that now. Moyes has stabilised the club and we are 99% certain to be playing in the Premier League next season. In that context, the time is right to appoint serious people to the board between now and the summer, and then show a little ambition in the market. If we keep hearing the word "stability" from here on in, well, we'll know what to expect, namely, not much.

I'd say their start has been tempered by circumstances - but the summer will probably define their objectives for the club and what Everton under TFG is going to look like.

Seems we could be waiting several months for a new CEO based on waiting for someone to serve notice.

This transfer window, looks like it will be Alcaraz only - but let's see. We need another forward.

Friedkin hasn't attended any games - again if they're going to be actions rather than words people that doesn't bother me too much - but you'd ask when he IS actually planning on coming over.

What I'd expect to see sooner than later is confirmation of the stadium naming rights - the sponsor will want the exposure in the run up to opening and weeks are ticking by.

Later, and towards the summer I'd expect to see them put their mark on other areas with TFG affiliate sponsorship like they've done with Roma for Toyota and Auberge Resorts.

Not sure if Stake's deal is up but we need to rid ourselves of associations like that asap. Whom they can attract there would be interesting.

Great start for these Texans. Handed on the debt of that stadium to financial sharks and then failed to spend in their first transfer window.
They moved our stadium debt, which was with the likes of Acap and MSP sports capital at insane interest rates, to one at a very reasonable rate with one of the worlds top banks. Also there may be cash, but Moyes doesn’t like the players being offered to him, who knows. What we do know is that it has been explained from day one that PSR was still an issue short term thanks to Moshiri. Nobody promised any wild spending. But you’re absolutely awful at this WUM thing and have just resorted now to making things up about ‘sharks’. Do better.
