We're giving him the manager's job because Dyche effectively walked, and Moyes was free. Thereafter you're talking of making him DoF (a post which he's never done) and building the management structure around him, to include, a fella (Carsley) who has zero experience in the Premier League. All because Carsley apparently has a 'good relationship' with Moyes?

This time last week, I strongly suspect David Moyes wasn't in the new owner's plans at all. I'd prefer to see Friedkin's 'Plan A' before we go making long term plans based on good relationships and whoever happens to be free at the time.

Beat me too it, If Yak didn't destroy his ankle I think we'd remember Moyes strikers a bit more positively, as we'd have got another 2-3 good seasons out of him.

Apparently Yak was going to Spurs, ( Harry Redknapp) for £20 odd million, then the injury happened.

He did alright and might do alright here. He’s not a great manager and I’m not looking forward to 2.5 years of dour football and him talking us down, which he has always done.
