Benitez must really regret making those ‘small club’ jibes now and taking us all for fools saying he meant to say ‘small team’. I imagine this would be the perfect job for him at this stage in his life & I actually think he’d have been a good fit but the club has to maintain some self-respect.

We're gonna try something a bit different this season by not having a manager or coaching staff.

Surely there is some computer program that could run statistics for us and the opposition to decide how we approach each game.

We wouldn't even need a Manager then. The current coaches could just read the data out in training.
