That first one is really good, its a billion percent improvement on the current one, and is almost identical to our previous one.

Can't see anything else coming close to it, and the voting is saying the same.

Crest 1 has also been backed by Martinez, Baines, Big Dunc and Peter Reid, amongst others.

It's basically the 1991 crest that 60% of EFC fans said was their favourite ever crest, just with Everton & 1878 on it.

I have the 1991 badge tattoo'd on my fore arm so had to vote for 1. It is the best badge out of the 3.
 
After all, i assume kinks can still be figured out right? I realise it has to be sent to the suppliers etc, BUT, for example the tower can be slightly modified if necessary right?

Crest 1 has got all the vital elements and is closest to the traditonal shield and scroll design, this is why it's the best of the three by several hundred country miles.

Crest 3 could eventually grow on me over time, but i just don't see the need to abandon the traditional shield shape simply to adopt a very generic alternative.

Crest 2 is a completely unacceptable clusterf@ck. It's 90% identical to the current toytown beehive abomination. I don't like having "1878" split into "18" on one side and "78" on the other, and the laurel wreaths are a must-have imho. It is better than the current one, but that's like saying i'd rather get shot than drowned.
 
I guess number one is closest to what I think's best (I think 1991 badge is THE badge by the way)

but I can not for the life of me fathom, why, if they have to have Everton on it, they cannot have it in capital letters for the purposes of aesthetic symmetry!

Everton... does not look as good and symmetrical as ...EVERTON

Why, explain yourself.

Throughout our club history the badge has changed frequently usually without any communication with supporters. Whilst I liked the old crest very much I can understand that with the proliferation of the digital age there is a need for a more streamlined crest. Badge 1 is pretty much the previous badge tarted up a little bit, badge 2 is the current one altered a little to satisfy the masses. The 3rd option represents an update that maintains tradition whilst presenting a more modern appearance.

So again, explain why a scouser would vote for badge 1, I'm assuming it's because you in particular are insular and afraid of a positive change?
