That's not actually what he says though... Just says it needs to be included in the options, not that every option will feature it (that would be strange anyway, imo).

Just as a follow up on the discussion last night, Radio Merseyside have just confirmed via Everton that Nil Satis Nisi Optimum will be back on the EFC badge next season.

Alan Myers has said on the news this morning that 95-96% of Evertonians have said they wanted the motto in full on any badge.

Hiring and paying for some outfit called 'Kenyon and Fraser' to sort out a matter that takes a thimbleful of commonsense from anyone with a reasonable grasp of what will be acceptable.

Madness.

Dave they're PR specialists; as with majority of most companies across the world, they bring experts in certain fields to this work. Its madness that you think this is just a simple process of scetching a few designs and saying 'which one?'.

The experts here are Everrtonians, not some smarmy pr firm. They're probably pissing themselves at the thought that the club are crowd-sourcing this info themselves and all they have to do is come in and put together a couple of designs based on it. Look on this forum and you can see what lads here can come up with that are perfectly acceptable. No need to be paying outsiders for something so obviously within our own powers to get right ourselves.

If all they're doing is designing 3 measly crests based on all the info sourced by the club then you can rest assured that they aren't going to be paid too much. 'sall okay in the end.

The current shambles of a badge that we have was produced 'in-house'.

Whatever it's costing the club to use the services of Kenyon Fraser, it is the clubs own fault for making such a mess of it in the first place.

As has been advocated by fans groups regarding other matters pertaining to the club, the use of outside services to guide the club may not be a bad thing.

To be honest, I think the club have handled the crest consultation as well as could be expected. They've surveyed 20000 people, and regardless of any cynical views, you don't do that & spend so much time & effort doing that to ignore it. At least they're listening to the fans for once. They don't always & didn't previously, but in this instance its really churlish to fault them.

Not tomorrow. Monday 23rd September.

Off the BBC article:
Three new crest ideas will be unveiled on Friday on the club website. Voting runs from Monday 24 September to 1 October. The final design will be unveiled on 3 October.

Confirmation that you are wrong :)
